Yes, I do. I really do. Fact is, I already have two. One, if you don't count the one that technically belongs to my mom and her significant other. They are a beautiful male Labrador and an adorable male Shih Tzu, Luckie and Cookie. Here they are:
They are pretty awesome. And a special shoutout to my baby Love, who is no longer with us, but who I think about all the time.
The only drawback is, I'm based in KL, while my dogs are still in Penang with my family. I only get to see them when I go back, which is every couple of months, and honestly, not frequently enough. I really miss having a dog, or dogs around the house. Even if a house is devoid of human presence, a dog lights it up immediately (provided you have a nice one and not those poor ones who've been traumatised and growl at people all the time), because who can possibly stay mad when you have an irrepressible, happy ball of fluff following you around the house? So, in short, I miss my dogs all the time. And that feeling just got amplified when I received a Whatsapp with a collage of the cutest dog I've seen in a while. Looks like this:

Yeah well obviously it doesn't refer to me me but the moment I saw the picture my heart ached :( I just really hope this beautiful creature finds a happy home, one that appreciates it and loves it as much as I wish I could. In my moment of misery I even messaged my mom cos I needed someone to share my feels with, and she agreed Hugo is adorable too. She said when I get to stay on a landed property I can think about getting one. Well, technically where I'm living now is one, but as I'm sharing it with students and other working people that's definitely out of the question. Even if I do get to live on my own in a landed property or a very supportive apartment, the cost of staying there will probably be too high for me to care for a dog properly. Then again, I suppose I could do without a lot of material things if I had furry companionship. There's just no friend like a canine friend. On the bright side, I'll be home real soon. As in next Thursday! I'll get to fly back that very night and see my babies very soon, and I'm gonna make the most of it by taking pictures as usual.
